The excavator carrier roller is used to hold the track, prevent the track from sagging too much, to reduce the vibration phenomenon of the track in the movement, and to prevent the track from sliding sideways. Compared with the track roller, the force is smaller, the erosion of dirt in the work is less, and the working conditions are better than the excavator track roller, so the structure of the excavator top roller is simple and the size is small.
In order to reduce the friction loss between the excavator top roller and the track, the number of top roller should not be too much. Each side of the track is generally 1-2, the position of the carrier roller should be conducive to the track out top roller and maintain the tensioning state of the track. When two carrier roller are used, one of the rear top roller should be near the sprocket.
