Hydraulic Cylinder

Excavator hydraulic cylinder is a kind of heavy construction machinery equipment, four oil cylinders are one of its important components. Excavators usually use four cylinders to achieve a variety of operations such as grabbing, lifting and moving earth. These four cylinders are boom cylinder, arm cylinder, bucket cylinder and rotary cylinder.

Excavating oil cylinder and other hydraulic cylinder, the important parts are cylinder head, cylinder head, cylinder, piston, piston rod, guide sleeve, seals and pull rod. Most hydraulic cylinder heads and heads are usually made of rolled steel or cast iron.

The cylinder is made of seamless steel pipe, which can enable the inner hole to be processed to a high external brightness, which can reduce the internal friction and extend the life of the seal. The piston of the cylinder is mostly made of cast iron or steel, and the piston is fixed on the piston rod by a certain process. Buffering is a available option on most cylinders and can often be added without changing the profile size. The piston rod is individually high strength steel, which is carburized, quenched, ground, polished and hard chrome plated to resist wear and erosion. Corrosive atmosphere conditions usually require stainless steel rods. The rod can be chrome plated for wear resistance. The guide sleeve supports the piston rod when it is moved back and forth, most are made of ductile iron and can usually be removed without having to disassemble the whole hydraulic cylinder.
