Hydraulic Filter

The role of the hydraulic filter is to filter various impurities in the hydraulic system. The main sources are the mechanical impurities remaining in the hydraulic system after cleaning, such as rust, casting sand, welding slag, iron filings, paint, paint and cotton yarn scraps, etc., external impurities entering the hydraulic system, such as dust entering through the refueling port and dust ring; Impurities produced during the working process, such as fragments formed by hydraulic pressure of seals, metal powder produced by relative wear of motion, gum, asphaltene, carbon slag produced by oxidation and deterioration of oil.

The general hydraulic filter is mainly composed of a filter element (or filter screen) and a shell (or skeleton). The flow area of the oil is composed of countless tiny gaps or small holes on the filter element, so when the impurities in the oil are larger than these tiny gaps or small holes, they are blocked from filtering out of the oil.
